This type of therapy can be useful for any animal that has less mobility or range of motion or pain/discomfort in moving. As an example, a horse that is typically used in competitions involving running or jumping or performing a specific set of movements having difficulties that prevent them from performing those actions and it has been determined this is due to soft tissue restrictions or injuries can benefit from these treatments.
